12 Months and A Dream | Documentary Idea

For children born in the west, Dreams, Money and Success are never far away. The potential given to each individual child is immense but very few realize it.
We are living in a consumerist culture that dictates for society to continue, we don’t have to realize our full potential… we don’t have to make the most of ourselves. We need simply to fulfill the status quo.
Therefore the idea for this documentary is to see how far three young men, who seemingly have failed in fulfilling they’re potential at the age of 21, can go.
They wish to embark on a journey that in the space of twelve months will involve: training with shaolin monks in China, soccer/football coaching in Cameroon, animal conservation in Kenya, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, running the Athens Marathon, and walking the route of the Inca trails in South America.
This will all be funded off our own backs. By creating a consultancy, consulting business and helping them to expand. An idea that requires vast amounts of hard work but they have already secured an organization to allow them to work on their behalf. It will also involve starting an events company; they are in the process of pitching to a university in England currently.
So many give up on their dreams before even considering whether they can achieve them. These three young men will have to train hard physically, be disciplined financially, and work to make this a reality having to generate at least £30,000. But that is the magic of this idea.
So many would love to embark on this journey but are too fearful too. Just speaking about it arouses ambition and inspiration within others but imagine what seeing it could do for ones self esteem and drive.
This particular project is going to happen. It is already underway; the only question left to be answered is, will it be documented along the way.
I truly believe this is a great opportunity for greatness, and an opportunity to capture its inception.
