In the Line of Duty | Documentary Idea

This is from the house burn Bill and I were teamed up on.
My documentary idea is about an important topic. Its about our everyday heroes lost in the line of duty. Both police and firefighters.
I was a volunteer firefighter/emt for 5 years. I had been looking for a documentary idea for the longest time and something told me this was the best one, coming after Omaha Police Officer Kerrie Orozco was killed in the line of duty. It could also include those military members that were killed in the line of duty. I have many friends in both law enforcement and the fire departments.
Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. I am looking for a good angle.
Some of my film making friends say to take it towards one either police or fire. I think both would be a good idea.
I know of a local volunteer firefighter/emt that lost his life in Afghanistan. He was a good friend of mine, and we were on a training house burn together, and the fire flashed a little bit, melted his face shield on his helmet a little, but he was one of the reasons why I was working on going back into the military.
Unfortunately due to my being diagnosed with diabetes, I was not able to go back into the military. It was a sad day when I found out he had been killed in Afghanistan. I know I would include some footage/info on him.
There are many other stories I could include in this video, most of it would be local police/fire/military members who lost their lives. So if you have any thoughts or comments, they would be greatly appreciated.
This is a project that is near and dear to my heart.
I am thinking of Kerrie Orozco, Jason Pratt, Jimmy Wilson Bill Bailey from Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department. If anyone else knows of anyone who should be included, please get in touch with me as well.
